The Zollenspieker Fährhaus is situated at the most southern point of Hamburg. Like hardly any other historic building in North Germany, it represents a piece of Hanseatic history. The foundations can be traced back to 1252. So, no wonder that the house was part of many historic events. Besides its historic significance, the Zollenspieker Fährhaus is known for its unique location on the banks of the River Elbe.
